The five ravens that participated in the afternoon games were taking turns riding the winds up the steep canyon off the west side of Buffalo, dipping above and below the line of sight, showing off to each other with fancy aerobatics that involved impossibly quick 180 degree turns, barrel rolls, and plunges (like the one about to happen here) where the bird pulled wings tight against the body in a power-dive. It was truly amazing!
